My classes are usually conversation-based and customised to my students' language needs, whether it be grammar, idioms, vocabulary, or pronunciation. I am also happy to answer any questions you have about material you are learning in other Japanese classes or by yourself, and help with document editing/proofreading. My teaching experience includes helping students prepare for the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) and supporting students who were studying Japanese for entrance exams to Japanese high schools. While living overseas, I also had the opportunity to teach Japanese at local schools using English. Through these experiences, I have worked with students from different backgrounds. I am currently studying Dutch (A2). Having experienced firsthand the challenges of language learning, I strive to provide flexible instruction tailored to your goals, guided by the motto of “practical and enjoyable learning.”

I am certified to teach Japanese and currently teach at a language school in Taiwan and for private students. I teach general Japanese, business Japanese as well as exam preparation for JLPT, to students from various backgrounds. Some of my students started to learn with me from Hiragana, the most basic letters in this language, and some others are advanced learners who are required to use Japanese for their jobs. I am so happy for what my students and I are doing together to improve their skills, and having good time in each class.

What you have to do is just hearing Japanese language a lot, like podcasts, movies, animes, music,YouTube videos etc... and speak it . I believe that helps you to pick up words and sentence structures naturally. And you can also pick up native terms from it as well. That will help you speaking Japanese a lot. As mentioned in 'About Me', I am not a typical type of Japanese person, rather, I would like to train my student indepent or be able to get through any issue by themselves. Some of my friends tell me that I am approachable. So you can feel free to give me any kind of question or request. I have student who is struggled with Dyslexia.
