Since I spent my whole life studying foreign languages, I can relate to the struggles of learning and speaking a foreign language as a second language. I do love teaching my students. I've been teaching English and Korean for the lats 2 years and it has been an awesome journey. One of the best aspects of myself as a teacher is that I do understand why my students struggle when it comes to learning languages that are not their mother tongues. I have spent a long time living abroad, which has deepened my desire to understand my native language and culture better. After graduating from university, I obtained a Korean language teaching certificate. I then began helping my expat friends understand Korean more easily. During my university years, I gained extensive experience tutoring English and Chinese. Now, I want to support learners who are studying Korean in the same way!

As a language teacher, I have to be explicit when interacting with my students. In such a way that will consistently improve cognitive development. As many know Rome wasn’t built in a day and that’s the same when learning Korean that’s why I have always emphasised to my students the necessity of consistency and patience when learning the Korean language.
