今日の天気は晴れ。
気温は23℃です。

天気が良いので少しだけ暑く感じます。

今日はコロケーションについて。
コロケーションという言葉を聞いたことがありますか？
日本語訳で調べると連語れんご、と出てきますが、
要は言葉の自然な組み合わせのことを言います。

英語だと、
fast food をquick foodとは言いませんね。
wash laundryではなく、do laundry 
strong rainではなく、heavy rain 
など言うようです。

日本語はというと、
例えば、
ご飯を食べる
飯を食う

と言いますが、これを
ご飯を食う
とか
飯を食べる
とはほとんど言いません。

知らない間に覚えたものだと、
かぜをひく
傘をさす

なども同じコロケーションですね。
かぜになる
かさをする
間違ってはいませんが、もしかすると、日本人は少し違和感があるかもしれません。

他にも、
約束をやぶる
影響を与える、及ばす
攻撃を受ける

などがあります。

私のpodcastの26で服を着る表現について話しましたが、
これもコロケーションの１つです。

興味が出る、とか興味が上がる、とは言いません。
