Here are some Idioms I use regularly:
‘A piece of cake’– something is very easy. (My favourite Idiom)
“The English test was a piece of cake.”
‘Once in a blue moon’ – an event that happens infrequently.
“I only go to the cinema once in a blue moon.”
‘Let the cat out of the bag’ – to accidentally reveal a secret.
“I let the cat out of the bag about their wedding plans.”
What is your favourite idiom?
"He shot himself in the foot". In America, for better or worse, we really like our gun-related idioms (LOL): "keep your powder dry", "go off half-cocked", "shoot from the hip", "locked and loaded".

"It's six of one, half a dozen of the other."
Meaning that there is very little difference between the two choices or basically the same thing.
Do you want your ham sandwich on rye or whole wheat bread?
For me, "it's six of one, half a dozen of the other."
