Actually, they either mean the same thing! OR .... For me they may mean slightly different things... or rather... the FOCUS moves. Sentence 1 > the choice is 'which day of the week do I prefer for my cinema visit?' Which DAY is best? Hmmm? Sunday! For sentence 2.. the focus shifts to Sunday>> what do I like to do on a Sunday? Let me think! Picnic? Swim? No! >> The cinema! That's what I like to do on Sundays! Do you see how the focus of the sentences changes? BUT it will depend on your TONE of voice/which words you STRESS. "I like to go to the cinema ON SUNDAY" has a different focus than "I like to go TO THE CINEMA on Sunday." So, they mean the exactly same thing OR something slightly different!!! BUT whichever it is, I know I will probably find you in the cinema on a Sunday!

The two sentences you provided are essentially the same in terms of meaning. They convey the idea that on Sundays, you enjoy going to the cinema to watch movies. The only difference lies in the word order and structure: "I like to go to the cinema and watch movies on Sunday." "On Sunday, I like to go to the cinema and watch movies." In the first sentence, the main statement is presented first, followed by the specific detail about when this activity takes place. In the second sentence, the time element is presented at the beginning, followed by the main statement. Both constructions are grammatically correct and convey the same meaning, so you can choose the one that flows better or sounds more natural to you.
