i think the method of teaching is very important and a teacher has to be a fluctuated person during the study and i think a teacher has to find the positive and strong points about one's student and focuses those points. i mean that if a student likes to read novels or stories, the teacher has to emphasize it and teaches all important points during reading like grammars and new words and its relatives.

Scenario learning would be the most effective way to let your students understand how to exercise their learned vocabulary, phrases, sentences. If you know how to build such an environment, you are easier to build up good learning modules in your class. 

It is hard to simplify a good teacher or a bad teacher because everyone has their own ways to approach learning given differing state of mind and settings.
