While I cannot do certain things physically that one would expect for living alone, I live with people but take care of myself.
I have Cerebral Palsy. That, in itself, says next to nothing. Cerebral Palsy is a broad term. In my case my entire left side is affected. My balance is poor. Fine motor control is non-existent on my left side.Gentle caresses may prove pointless if you give them to me as feeling is diminished or non-existent.
Despite my physical limitations, I do have things to offer. My brain works fine (although there is a 5 cm diameter cyst in it). I graduated college with a Computer Science degree and a minor in mathematics.I've done technical support for computers, repaired computers, taught mathematics, tutored adults and children, and many other things.
While I may not be able to take care of a house, I can take care of me. Part of that revolves around making sure I continue to learn new things. Doing this enables me to stay active helping others.
