南柯一梦 A Dream Under Of The Southern Branch Bough 1

In the early Tang dynasty，there was a birthday party held under a big pagoda tree. After all the guests had gone，the drunkard master leaned against the tree and fell asleep as he leaned against the tree. He had a long long dream:

Later a war was coming broke out and he waked woke up when he failed to fight in win the war. He told his friends about his weird strange dream. They dug under the pagoda tree where they found a big ant nest. They also found a small ant nest near the southern branch of the tree.

2.  "Whether" is used when comparing two things.  "If" does not.  For example, "Whether you come or go I don't care".  "If you go I don't care."
