Everyone around the world enjoys holidays. A holiday means you can take a few days off to do something fun, such as going on a short trip, having a family reunion, or simply sleeping in. Usually, holidays represent a special cultural tradition or celebrate a famous historical figure. In my country, we have many holidays throughout the year, most of which are related to farming. The next holiday is the Qingming Festival, which falls on April 4th this year. This period is the ideal time for people living along the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River to begin farming. That region was the heart of China for thousands of years. Ancient people observed seasonal patterns and established the festival as a reminder of the best time to start farming. Over time, it became a holiday that also encourages people to make the most of their time and not waste it. Later in the year, we will celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival, which honours the famous patriotic poet Qu Yuan. After enjoying a few more holidays, autumn will arrive, bringing the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, both of which we eagerly look forward to.

After a few more holidays, fall will come. The Moon Festival, and National Day are waiting for us.
