TimeAfterTime's answer is perfect. For 24 hour clock times: 01:50 = one fifty 02:45 = two, forty five 18:00 = eighteen hundred hours 21:20 = twenty one, twenty

1:05 One oh five/ 7:35 seven thirty-five 2:10 Two ten/ 8:40 eight forty 2:15 Two fifteen (quarter past two)/ 9:45 nine forty-five (quarter till ten) 4:20 Four twenty/ 10:50 ten fifty 5:25 Five twenty-five/ 11:55 eleven fifty-five 6:30 Six thirty (half past six)/ 12:00 Twelve, Twelve o'clock (if 12AM- Midnight. if 12PM- Noon) Hope this helps! Note: if someone asks you what time it is, and it is x:50 or x:55 (x= any hour), you may answer "ten till" and "five till" and it will be correct. For x:45 you can say "a quarter till" and for x:15 you can say "a quarter past x." Example: You: What time is it? I look at my watch. It's 3:55. Me: About five till. (About five till four.) Literally, this means "there are about five minutes until it will be four o'clock." Me: What time is it? You look at your phone. It's 2:15. You: It's a quarter past two.
