suggest sb to do sth Someone wrote to me saying "I suggest you to use ..." Is "suggest sb to do sth" grammatical? I don't know for sure whether the person who wrote to me was a native English speaker.

No, you don't put "to" in that phrase. You have a simple subjunctive form. I suggest you use... I suggest we use... I suggest he/she use... (yes! You don't write "uses" here) I think even if a native English speaker didn't know the grammar rule behind this, he/she still wouldn't add "to". It simply sounds wrong.

Try this structure. I suggest something to somebody. I suggest somebody+clause.
