What is the difference between disabled people and invalid people? I am reading Leo Tolstoy's novel "Anna Karenina" recently. While I was reading I found a phrase "invalid people".

Invalid has to meanings. An INvalid is a disabled person. An inVALid person is a person with no value, no reputation.
