excited to do & excited about doing excited to do & excited about doing are they the same? Is there any differences?

They are the same. However, more native English speakers would say, "excited about doing" than would say "excited to do."

Excited to do: Used to express tasks we do. Ex: I am excited to do the mile run today. Excited about(preposition) doing: On the verge of ; close to doing. Ex: I am exited about doing the mile run today.
