He is acting "Weird" or "Weirdly"?
I know that "weird" is used in general. As an verb requires an adverbs, "weirdly" is grammatically correct, isn't it? I've read if you choose "weird" in this case in a test, it'll be incorrect.
Could anyone explain why an adjective comes after a verb, not an adverb?
If this case is an exception, do you have other exceptions? ex: act strange and so on.
Thanks in advance.
