"Where are you heading?" or "Where are you heading for?" Which one is correct?

Both are OK. There is only a slight difference - 'for' is a little more specific - it is asking about a place. If you asked 'where are you headed?' someone could just answer 'west'. But you wouldn't answer that to 'where are you headed for?'.
