what is the difference between かしら and かな? so i was studying for jlpt and i came across かしら and かな and i was wondering what the difference was since they both mean i wonder

They both have the same meaning. But they sounds differently. Kana is used by men and wemen. Casual, not polite, informal. You shouldn't use it when speaking to older people. Women around me never use kashira.
