What's the difference between address forms and vocative words? Thx a lot~

"Vocative" means "directly addressed". It makes more sense in Latin (this is where the word comes from) because the form of the noun/name changes. In English, the nouns and names don't change so we only know if a word counts as "direct address" by its position in a sentence.
