How can one obtain a C2 level in German ? First of all, I know that it is quite difficult to obtain a C2 level in German and it sounds almost impossible, but I was just wondering if there would be any ideas from other people who would know what to do in order to get a C2 in any langauge possible (in this case, German) Currently, I have a B2 level in German. But, in the near future I will obtain a C1 level in German. I have recently bought an Assimil Perfectionnement Allemand Book (a German impovement book in French) and after I finish this book, I will have a C1 level in German. Unfortunately, there aren't any products that might help me obtain a C2 level in German. That is why I have went to a German school, and I like it a lot. I want to be immersed in the German environment and I hope that gradually I will obtain a C2 level in German. But I don't know that for sure I will obtain a C2 level, and that is why I am asking this question.

Frankly speaking, for someone who really obtains a B2 level in a foreign language, they should be able to well express in that language. To this extent, it means that this post should be written in German. Additionally, one should also understand the fact that, to self claim that they have obtained a particular level, and to prove that they did obtain the level by some recognized institution through open examination(s), are two different things. I am not interested in arguments or verbal flames, but when I went through some of your posting in terms of German, e.g., an essay of, https://www.italki.com/notebook/3157987/entry/833370 I have to honestly say that, a person who is really at B2 level, should NOT make the simplest mistake, which is related to the well-known sentence structural rule in German: "The conjugated verb is ALWAYS located at the second position in a principal clause, and is ALWAYS located at the ending position in a subordinate clause." Based on the above rule, I have found at least ten (10) similar mistakes. Obviously, you are still not at the level in which it should be. Naturally, you can claim whatever level you want, but as I mentioned before, to self claim and to prove oneself through recognized institution(s) are different. In conclusion, please kindly keep up the good work regardless all negative comments. Once you have really reached the B2 level, this post would then be more appropriate and applicable. In fact, in European languages, any level that is at B1 or over, it is simply a different world. Do not ever presume that it would be so easy as a piece of cake. Anyway, good luck, and good day.
