Because an apple a day keeps the doctor away. The risk is that Sarah uses all of them for an apple pie. :)

Each apple for a day! In this way, Sarah would not forget the driver! Also, Maybe apples would not let Sarah become sick and she would have no excuse to meet the doctor!
