Hi Heidi Instead say either "I like to play with LEGO" or "I like playing with LEGO" Hope this helps!

US English: You can. In a formal paper, I would write "I like playing with LEGO bricks." But in casual conversation, I'd ask a child "do you want to play LEGO?" (or tell the child "Go play LEGO with your sister!")

Hey Heidi, It depends. Sometimes you need a preposition. For your particular sentence you would say “I like playing with legos.” However you might not need a preposition such as “I like playing cards”.
