Hello! My name is Teacher Summer! Thank you for clicking my profile. The short story about myself is this:
I am an American living on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica. I've also lived in France for 15 years. I love to travel and I have visited many countries. I am a mom of two energetic, young boys. I am bilingual and enjoy running, writing, theatre arts, and making audio books in English.Ik als leerkracht
I have been teaching English as a second language for more than nine years. I have done private tutoring to French students and adults. It is my job:
To make children feel comfortable and ready for class - a comfortable child is ready to talk!
To build a safe place where mistakes can be made (that is how we learn!)
To find what interests a child and keeps them engaged.
To encourage independent thought and creative speech.
To provide the tools my students need to understand and flourish.

Starting with the book club, I have a regular class twice a week with teacher Summer. I've never seen anyone who is as diligent and prepared for class as her. She's the only teacher I trust perfectly!

Summer has been our best teacher for 2 years! Our son, who is 10 years old, always enjoys learning with her. She consistently has a great lesson program and knows exactly how to keep him interested in the learning process. As parents, we are very happy with the results and would highly recommend Summer to anyone who wants their children to have a good command of English!
