Paul's a really good conversational tutor, as we focus all the time on conversation. Sure I am making lots of mistakes, but so long as we understand each other, we allow the conversation to continue. It's counter-productive to spend a lot of time on the mistakes, as more and more conversations will solve these issues. Paul is very curious, intelligent, and engaging, so conversations are quite involved and entertaining.

My lesson with Paul was quite relaxed. I scheduled it the night before due to an upcoming interview, and he was also in a particular situation during his trip. The lesson ended up taking place while he was outside, which was a bit distracting, though not a major issue. The conversation was very casual, but he has a great ability to keep it flowing. He was also very encouraging, which helped boost my confidence in speaking French. If you enjoy a spontaneous approach, you'll probably like his lessons!

For one reason or another, I wasn’t able to do my homework for the past few lessons, but Paul was very understanding and accommodating. Suffice it to say, the classes are incredibly flexible and adapted to the individual's needs. Paul always finds creative ways to adjust the lessons to match my current situation. Whether it’s reviewing previous topics, practicing conversation skills, or introducing new concepts, he is able to ensure that the time is used productively. Merci bcp !
