Chi

Today’s lesson with Chi was very useful. We discussed different types of sports and games. It was a great way to improve my use of Vietnamese grammar, talking in active voice and passive voice, talking in past tense and present tense, etc. Thank you Chi for helping me improve my grammar and pronunciation.

I have been meaning to write a review for Chi for a while now! I have been studying with her for two months and really enjoy my lessons with her. She is great at coming up with topics/questions to keep our conversations going and teaching me the meaning of new words in Vietnamese so I am able to practice my listening while also learning new things. Although I was really nervous for our first few lessons, Chi was always very encouraging and supportive and could tell when I needed some help or I could figure out what I wanted to say on my own. I have become a lot more comfortable and confident in my conversational skills since beginning lessons with Chi, and I'm excited to learn a lot more in the future!

The teaching skills are extraordary. Don't be put off because she is a young woman. She is very experienced. Her program is excellent. She is a class apart. I would highly recommend her.

Chi is hands down the best teacher I’ve ever had. She comes prepared with exercises and homework, and she’s always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you get the practice you need. Even when you’re feeling discouraged, she’s there to motivate you. Chi doesn’t just teach the language—she also shares insights into Vietnamese culture and explains the origins of certain words. Her lessons are always engaging and interactive, and I notice improvement every time. I’m incredibly grateful to have Chi as my teacher, she truly is the best.

I wish I had recorded my first lesson with Chi. I feel like I have improved so much in my comprehension, pronunciation, and vocabulary with her guidance. I want to turn back time and see how I spoke back then at that first lesson. She has fixed so many of my mistakes and she has helped me grow and converse in deep and challenging topics. Thank you Chi for motivating me to always do my best to learn as much as I can. Thank you Chi for all of your great discussion topic ideas that challenge me to build my vocabulary in every lesson.
