My lesson with Yuka-sensei was my first on italki, and it was a great decision. I've already got many years of experience with Japanese, but was looking for someone I could speak with to improve my overall confidence when speaking and dig further into business-related/polite Japanese. Though this was just an introduction, she made me feel so confident about my current level of Japanese and my ability to progress. I will definitely be coming back to her for future lessons.

Yuka-san is such a great and delightful teacher. She has such a warm and engaging teaching style that makes every class enjoyable. It’s always a pleasure to speak with her, and I genuinely look forward to each lesson. Yuka-san knows how to create a comfortable and encouraging environment. I had a fun first lesson with Yukaさん. She's very insightful and quickly matched her speaking level with my ability. Additionally, we talked about a variety of very interesting topics that I didn't realize I had the vocabulary or grammar to speak about. It was very encouraging. All the while, she was able to pepper in new and very practical vocabulary for future use.
