The lesson with Patricia are fun, but she also knows how to push a student. I find that fundamental especially when you start studying a language from scratch. Do you homework with her, and she'll be able to bring you behing your limit. I had other experiences with teachers (online and in person) and Patricia is by far the most professional one I have met. And, as we know, when keeping professionalism when you are constantly working remotely is non trivial. Moreover, Patricia has proved to be very honest when she could have overlooked certain situations. A subtle difference, though one that brings the conversation on another level. ✌ Very satisfied!

Patricia is an outstanding teacher of German who works to a very high professional standards. She targets her lessons to my own learning style and individual needs. She is extremely helpful and encouraging. I would definitely recommend her.

Unfortunately, Ms. Patricia is not able to teach or explain errors without making judgements about the abilities of a person. She is unable to talk about errors, instead she confuses errors in language with personality traits. I did not feel treated with respect. This is a teacher that only would help native speakers improve their German, if anything.

The lessons are like an adventure where I feel like if i am interested in something or deviate it ends up being part of learning. I even felt confident enough to write some German poetry 6 lessons in! Would highly recommend especially for people who learn in different ways or want more interesting subject matter or to try new ways of learning. Patricia is an exceptional teacher. In her course, we read original texts with vocabulary aids, but she goes far beyond this. She explains the structure of every sentence, ensuring that no translation is attempted without a clear understanding of its syntax. No unusual construction or subtle nuance of meaning goes unnoticed. What truly sets Patricia’s lectures apart, however, is that they are not limited to the text and the language alone. We discuss the historical and mythological contexts from which the text emerges, and we are encouraged to develop a personal interpretation of the story. We explore the characters’ emotions and reflect on how we relate to them. Patricia’s course offers a fine humanistic education for the modern age.
