I'm Keisuke. I live in Niigata, Japan. I'm 44 years old. There are four people in my family.
My hobby is cooking. I want to eat famous dishes from all over the world. But traveling costs money, so I make my own and eat it. I've been a nerd since I was a kid and know Japanese anime, dramas, movies and music well.
You don't have to be nervous if you're not confident in conversing in Japanese. Also, you don't have to be afraid because I aim for a class where you can relax and study at the same time. In addition, I’ll do my best to provide support in the conversation. So let's have fun talking together.
Ik als leerkracht
I have been teaching Japanese language online for 3 years now.
Before that, I also participated in a seminar for volunteer Japanese language teachers for a year.
If you have started studying Japanese, I recommend a study method to memorize phrases that Japanese people often use.
Simple and common phrases used in everyday situation would help in starting a conversation. Try to speak with a lot of simple phrases and you’ll be able to get used to Japanese language. I will suggest several ways to learn and adjust the lessons according to your purpose.
Let's enjoy learning Japanese together!

With every class I enjoy this wonderful teacher a little more. He has helped me through learning to decompose Kanji combinations, and is now helping me review the grammar I learned 20 years ago in grad school. My comfort with Japanese is increasing at an astonishing rate, for which I award all the credit to him. If you want a sensei to help you increase your facility in Japanese, it would be almost impossible to do better. I am thrilled with is help, and I am encouraging my son to move to this teacher and start his lessons again.

ありがとうございました。楽しかったです。
(咳が多くて 申し訳ありません。)
I have been taking lessons from Keisuke-sensei for more than a year roughly and it has been one of the best decisions for my japanese learning journey.
I have taken many lessons with different teachers (japanese but other fields as well) and once in a while, you meet a special teacher.
Keisuke-san is this teacher : not only he is very dedicated but also a very nice human being.
What I like the most is that we can talk about almost anything (within my language abilities) and it's always a fun experience.
He also makes sure to use very clear japanese so his voice is very nice to listen to and soothing (I wish he had his own podcast !)
I'm very glad to have met Keisuke-san and will continue taking lessons from him.
I would recommend him to anyone willing to get better at speaking and understanding japanese (and japanese culture).
When I came to italki, I had studied Japanese (both in a classroom and on my own), but it had been a long time since I had practiced speaking Japanese. I had a trip to Japan coming up and I was looking for a tutor with similar interests that I could just practice casually speaking with and could help me feel less nervous about speaking Japanese. Keisuke-sensei is exactly what I was looking for. I have fun talking with him about food, games, anime, and movies and our time passes by quickly. And he helps whenever I have trouble. After our lessons, in the feedback, he gives a list of words/phrases that I struggled with, so I can study them for next time. It's a big help. I definitely recommend him!
Keisuke sensei is a true gift. He is always encouraging and patient, and he does a good job helping me understand the nuances of the grammatical points in a lesson. What I have come to value most is his obvious commitment to my learning. He is watching what I do right and wrong, and tailoring exercises to help me reach the next level. He embodies the best of everything I have come to love about Japan and Japanese, and I m grateful for his support. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
