Gema is a skilled and patient instructor and is exactly the right person for the conversation practice I need. She is great at striking the right balance between free conversation and structure, giving me good pointers and grammatical fixes to help me take my Spanish to the next level, while still making it feel like a natural conversation. She gives great feedback, as well as encouragement as I learn.

Conversation is easy with Gema. She is incredibly supportive in asking questions that have me using the vocabulary I know, and in giving suggestions and corrections when needed. She includes so many topics - from studio ghibli to world politics and economy - my confidence having a spontaneous conversation in Spanish has improved so much!

I have been taking weekly conversation classes with Gema for 8 months now and she is an amazing teacher! Incredibly knowledgeable about a wide range of topics and asks questions to always keep the conversation going. She offers corrections and suggestions in a supportive manner that helps me to complete a thought without switching to English. I always enjoy class!!!
