Hello everyone,
I am a native English speaker from Leicester in England. I have 2 siblings and I am the eldest. My hobbies include swimming regularly, football and reading novels. I am currently reading an interesting novel on Egyptian History. I have 2 beautiful children whom I love and admire and show them what life is all about. So why not have a little introductory lesson with myself and enjoy learning the English Language! We can talk about many different, interesting topics of your choice or I can pick out from a list! I teach English on italki which is an online languages platform whereby you can engage in sessions with a teacher, or tutor, in order to improve your language abilities. I try to make my lessons fun and engaging and adapt my teaching to suit the needs of my audience. Each student I find is unique and I can manage their own individual learning needs by a variety of different, simple, methods which include taking into account the pace and questioning of various topics. In the past I have taught GCSE English Language and Literature extensively and can help greatly with exam technique for UK year 11 examinations. I use the skills and techniques that I have learnt in my teaching diploma for all.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
My lessons are 30 - 90 mins in duration and are focussed towards teaching conversational English, Business English and I also assist in helping with SPaG - which stands for spelling, punctuation and grammar. I make my lessons very interactive and give lots of hints and tips along the way when a student is trying to improve any aspect of the language. When we try to look for online articles to talk about, I let the student take the lead in deciding exactly what to talk about in order to develop the ideas and concepts and also to broaden their vocabulary in an area that may interest them. I do however have an extensive list of interesting topics.

I just took my second lesson and I have to say that Maher is a very professionnal and competent teacher. He finds topics so to talk about. He suits easily to your needs, we don't stop talking & learning ! I strongly recommend for every level.

This is my 3rd class with Maher and I am enjoying it a lot. My goal is more focus on conversations. He is a very good teacher. Very update about any topic which makes the class very interactive and also full of discovery for me.

Reasons why I recommend Maher:
1) Experienced. Maher is a language teacher with many years‘ experience. Feel free to tell Maher your needs and he can always help. I admire his work a lot.
2) Friendly. Speaking a foreign language is not easy, but with a patient listener and his proper suggestions. It can be easier. It feels like I'm not struggling to learn but just having a conversation with a friend. The time pass fast on the lesson.
3) Easy to follow. Maher's speech is clear and slow. No problem for me to follow. You can find it out in your trail lesson.
4) Well organized courses. Booking a package from Maher and commit to study at a set time. Then you can make slowly but stable progress everyday.
If you are looking for an English tutor just like me, Maher is definitely your best choice.
