Halló! I'm a passionate educator with a rich academic background, holding Bachelor's degrees in both Law and Philosophy from the University of Iceland. My fascination with Chinese culture -- and the Chinese language -- led me to pursue an MA in Chinese Philosophy at Fudan University, one of the most prestigious institutions in China. Currently, I am further deepening my expertise by working towards a PhD in Chinese Philosophy at Fudan University. On the side, I teach both Icelandic and English.Ik als leerkracht

My teaching philosophy is centered around communication. I believe in the power of oral proficiency as a foundation for language learning, and thus, my lessons are predominantly focused on helping you become confident and fluent in speaking Icelandic. My primary aim is to teach you Icelandic as it's genuinely spoken on the streets of Reykjavík. Another fantastic lesson, thank you. Lessons so far have been consistently good, Baldur is attentive and gives really useful feedback. Good at explaining things and also giving good notes in the chat. I have a long way to go but I really feel like I am improving after every lesson. Recommend.
