Today's conversation was really nice. We talked about politics, the weather, and some traditions we have in our countries, like Carnival in Brazil and the Stampede in the city of Calgary. Teacher Jeannie is very patient and precise in helping to improve my pronunciation. I recommend her to everyone on Italki.

I've been practicing my spoken English with Jennie for about two years. I have to say that Jennie is a teacher with full enthusiasm and patient. We did topics on many different aspects we were interested in, but most of the time I just started a new topic at the beginning of our lesson without early negotiations, and Jennie was always happy to follow up. She is also skillful enough to explain some new words to me, especially for some abstract ones. She sometimes used things nearby whatever she can find in her house to help illustrate. It's a good memory that she tried to locate a place on her map and shared me the the snow outside her window. It's also a great journey to learn new things together with Jennie and she's wisdom enough the talk with. I really appreciate this process. Thanks so much.

Jeannie and I just met for the first time. I am a beginner and she was very patient and spoke slowly to me. We discussed a short story together and she encouraged me and taught me a lot of study methods, which I really needed. I learned a lot of new vocabulary .I think we will meet again.
