Valentina is an excellent teacher, and very enjoyable to learn from. I am learning a lot, and I always look forward to our lessons together. She is always well-prepared as well, with very good learning materials.

Valentina is able to explain the grammar very clearly, and she is patient going through the lessons. We are setting up a good foundation for me to understand Italian. She is well prepared with teaching materials and there are lots of opportunities for me to practice pronunciation, reading and speaking, which I appreciate.

Valentina is exceedingly patient, purposefully constructive, and genuinely caring. She’s the best teacher I have ever had.

Valentina is amazing, her lessons are extremely interesting. She is very motivating and helpful, she is always happy, you can feel her energy, I have a lot of fun in her classes, I have learned a lot. There are not enough words to describe how good she is. All the topics we discuss in her classes are very interesting, also the material to read, very interesting stories about culture, history, Italian cuisine. My experience with her is extremely satisfactory. I feel I have improved a lot since I started my lessons with her.

I have been studying with Valentina for more than a year and she has been an excellent teacher. I started with no Italian and I was nervous and scared to talk. She is focused, prepared and knows what I need. She never gives me the answer but gently guides me to find it or to correct myself. It isn't easy to convey in one review all the incredible ways in which Valentina is an awesome teacher; there are so many! But I have to give a special shout-out today to the amazing and customized focus she gives to her students. When I come up against a skill, topic, or grammar point within the Italian language that I find particularly difficult or confusing, Valentina will create a detailed yet easy-to-understand slide presentation that clearly and specifically explains what I need to learn. Valentina goes above and beyond for her students to make sure they really come to understand the nuances of the beautiful language she teaches. I can't recommend Valentina highly enough! She is wonderful!!
