Deborah

I'm happy to share my experience with Deborah, who has been absolutely great. We've done a few lessons together, and I have learned a lot and feel significantly more confident with various grammar topics. Her patience and kindness make every session enjoyable and productive. She is great at explaining complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

I've been meeting with Deborah for a few weeks now, and I feel so fortunate to have found her! She always guides our conversations easily and fluidly, asking insightful questions that really force me to the stretch the limits of my French conversation skills (in the best possible way). She is always completely kind and encouraging, and as much as I may struggle to express myself in French, I always feel comfortable and supported by Deborah. She offers helpful tips on vocabulary and grammar without disrupting the flow of the conversation, and always without the slightest hint of judgement or condescension. That last part is key. I know that my pronunciation and grammar are not perfect (to say the least), but Deborah makes me feel like I am nevertheless being understood, and that encourages me to keep making the effort to improve. Deborah is the best. If you're looking for a French tutor, stop searching and book with her!

I’ve just completed a trial lesson with Deborah. The lesson was well-organised, the tutor seems to be patient and understanding. After the lesson, I have immediately received my homework, which is very important for me. Will continue having classes with her. Highly recommended!!❤️

This is my third time writing a review for Deborah, but it's my first time doing so since visiting a Francophone country. I've made many trips to Francophone countries in the past five years, and every time I have struggled to use what I had studied. Usually, people switched to English with me immediately. On this most recent trip, I managed to get by almost entirely in French, and in the rare moments where someone had to explain a word in English, they resumed speaking French to me right after. For the first time, I felt comfortable expressing myself in the local language. The difference was night-and-day, and I truly owe it all to Deborah! I'm still a long way from where I want to be, but I've made so much more progress after a few months of working with Deborah than I did in several years of studying on my own. Deborah is amazing, and if you want to practice French conversation with someone, you cannot find anyone better! I only wish I had met her sooner!

Deborah is a great conversationalist and keeps me talking, all the while that she provides gentie correction. I highly recommend her👍
