I will be away from December 20th - January 6th.
My name is Rocksaina Sintjacoba. I was born on the island of Curacao but now I live in the Netherlands. In my free time I enjoy spending time in nature, listening to music, making music (I play drums), visiting museums, doing arts and crafts and spending time with the people that are important to me.

I am a patient teacher that has the ability to explain complex subjects in a simple and accessible way. At first I like to get to know my students. This makes it easier for me to put together a custom curriculum to fit your personal needs.

I like to focus on the basic level of my students and start from there. I use organic ways to be immersed in the language we are trying to learn. This makes it easier to start recognizing patterns that you wouldn't otherwise be able to detect. Of course I do have materials that support this way of teaching.
Me gusta centrarme en el nivel básico de mis alumnos y empezar desde ahí. Uso formas orgánicas de estar inmerso en el idioma que estamos tratando de aprender. Rocksaina is always very kind and punctual. She is very patient when I'm learning Dutch and asks me how I want to be corrected. She customizes every lesson to my needs. If I want to practice an interview, she helps me create a scenario where I can speak on that subject. The most important thing I've noticed is that she lets me speak Dutch, even when I make mistakes, and then she corrects me gently and allows me to continue speaking.
