Hi, I am Alan and I would love to be your French tutor. Coming from the French part of Switzerland, I would love to help you learn my native language and improve your speaking skills. Having lived in Tunisia, England, and now the U.S., I'd also be more than happy to help you learn and/or improve your Arabic and/or English. Learning and teaching languages is my biggest passion. I also enjoy playing the violin, swimming, rock climbing, and traveling. I have been teaching French (as well as English and Arabic) for the last 10 years. Right now I teach French at a high school in New York City, and I also give Arabic lessons and English lessons to non-English speakers. I have taught these languages in England, Switzerland, and Tunisia, and I had students of all ages and all levels. I use interactive, fun, and yet productive methods that I have developed myself, and I focus on conversation and self-expression. With me you will not only learn the language, but also be equipped with the right tips and practices to make your language learning experience as enjoyable and as productive as possible. My lessons are fun, engaging, and effective. I use PDF files, word documents, articles, videos, and games that I have designed myself. With me, you will be speaking, listening, reading, and sometimes writing. We will focus on your speaking skills while making sure you understand the grammar aspects of the language. I prepare personalized lessons before each class, and I will give you small assignments and practice exercises to make the most out of your language learning journey. Alan is the real deal; talks the talk, he's a true polyglot and knows the French language inside and out, aside from a myriad of interesting conversational topics. He inspired me to learn more than two languages at once, as he himself is doing even more! Definitely give him a go if you can 🙏
