Hello there!I hope you are having a great day! Let's get to know each other better. My name is Valerie and I can be your future Romanian tutor.You should know that linguistics is my biggest passion that started when I was only 8 years old.My native languages are Romanian and Russian.I have been studying French at school since second grade and I learned English by myself and got a C1 level (Cambridge certificate).

I am a very open and interactive teacher. I want all of my students to feel comfortable during the lesson. This is why I let them choose the topics they want to discuss and encourage them to speak more in Romanian. I speak mostly in Romanian with explanations in English (if necessary).
When it comes to learning languages, I have experience and it is not difficult for me to understand the difficulties that my students may have when they start learning Romanian, but I am always helpful and encouraging. Moreover, I am super patient and I let my students think before they answer my questions.

My lessons are based on learning through speaking.I offer a personalized document for each of my student and a book. The document contains topics regarding daily vocabulary/ basic and complex grammar/ speaking subjects. It is suitable both for beginner and intermmediate students, because it is divided in different parts for each level.

Valeria este una dintre cele mai bune profesoare din italki, ăsta e clar.
Îmi place să vorbesc despre orice cu ea și stilul ei este atât de flexibil și adaptiv la mine…adică în loc de a schimba în engleză, ea îmi spune din nou o frază care n-am înțeles în primul rând, dar o zice ea mai încet, ca s-o înțeleg mai bine.
Dacă vrei o profesoară care sta de vorbă în limba română, ca și e adaptiv la nevoile voastre, hai să rezervați o lecție (sau zece) cu Valeria!

I'm really enjoying my classes with Valeria. Her materials are well-prepared and of high quality. She explains concepts at a very suitable place, ensuring students can grasp and internalize new information effectively.
The rhythm of the classes is great. There's a nice balance between instruction, practice, and discussion, always making sure to clarify any doubts.
