Gina Gargoles

Gina is a very caring and patient teacher, and she pays attention to what I want to learn. She's always happy to make great new original learning materials, and tailor her lesson style and topics from my requests. Her personality is warm and gentle and she's open to chatting about local lifestyle too. She helps me with pronunciation and language structure using practical sample sentences, which also impart some Philippines customs in our lesson.

I've had a couple of classes with Gina, and I've to say, its been such a pleasure to learn Tagalog with her . Gina is friendly , approachable and well organized. She adapts the classes' to my learning needs and Im enjoying them. The classes' are very interactive which include, phrases, stories and general tit bits , so the learning sessions are fun and not monotonous. Its commendable that she scheduled one of the classes late night, so that she could adjust to my time zone .I was really impressed to see the commitment level. If anyone wants to learn Tagalog, Gina should be your first choice . I can assure you that you wont find anyone more committed than her. Im looking forward to learn more from her.

Great lesson with Gina! We learned about "in" and "i" prefix - the focus, the meaning and how to conjugate verbs in past, present and future. We also learned how to form the infinitive/imperative. It was a fun lesson and Gina explained it very well!

I really appreciate how Gina is active about expanding my Tagalog vocabulary. It feels great to feel like I'm consistently 'leveling up' rather getting stuck with the same beginner materials aka 'tutorial hell'. Again, my Tagalog knowledge is steadily refining and I'm super thankful for that!

I enjoyed the class! new words were introduced with context of when to use which is really helpful! very immersive as teacher Gina will use Tagalog as much as possible and explain it right after. I started the classes with no prior knowledge and was able to progress fast with the help of teacher Gina :) really recommend!

Great lesson with Gina! Gina had me read a list of words that she sent me. She corrected my pronunciation where necessary, since some of the words were a little tricky. We finished learning about the mang prefix. We also started learning about object-focused prefixes. Gina gave very good explanations of the reason for using each prefix!
