My name is Mathilde and I've always been fascinated by foreign languages! For the past 3 years, I have been helping people around me learn French, English and Mandarin and I am ready to step it up. I belive conversation and speaking practice is one of the most important aspects of language learning while being also one of the most challenging skill to master and practice. My classes will be oriented on topics in which the student has a keen interest in to help them build strong active and passive vocabulary. Mathilde made me feel comfortable right as class began and provided great insight and feedback about my language learning goals. She also has an awesome personality that shines through, making you feel engaged at all times. Overall excellent trial class!

Mathilde is such a lovely teacher! From the minute that I joined the call, I felt at ease and in a comfortable environment to try and talk in French without fear of making mistakes. She prepared for the trial lesson beforehand by reading my profile and asked me questions about topics that I'm interested in, and how I would like the lessons to work. I really enjoyed it, would definitely recommend!

Great lesson with Mathilde! We talked about what we did for the holidays. I was telling about my cousin getting married, but the way I explained it was unnatural. Mathilde explained why and helped me better understand several key concepts. It was a very interesting and amusing lesson!
