Hello! My name is Rodrigo - but you can call me “Riggs”.
I’m an American English Teacher and I’ve been teaching English for over 10 years, now. I’ve worked in the US, in Brazil and now I’m teaching from Italy.
My family is from a bit all over the place and I have roots in the Lebanon, Syria, Italy and Japan. So, learning languages and new cultures has always been my passion.
I also enjoy drawing, painting, sculpture, gaming and computer programming.Ik als leerkracht
I love making my lessons all about my students, so I always make sure I know what you need and I understand how to get you to your objectives. The idea is to make the lesson all about the students and make you as independent as possible. I've been described as professional but friendly, serious but entertaining. I see myself as an enabler towards a student's independence, as I treasure a student's capacity to improve above all else. In my lessons, you can expect a lot of stimulation towards speaking your mind and expressing yourself, with as little interference from me as possible.
