🇬🇧 HI! My name is Valentina and I'm here to teach Italian. I was born and raised in Italy and I love the language and culture of my country. I love travelling, reading, learning about new cultures, cooking and, of course, eating!

🇮🇹 Ho 3 anni di esperienza nell'insegnamento dell'italiano a stranieri di qualsiasi nazionalità presso la scuola pubblica italiana. Attualmente sto studiando per conseguire una certificazione DITALS II Livello presso l'Università per stranieri di Siena.
🇬🇧 I have 3 years of experience teaching Italian to foreigners of any nationality at Italian public schools. I am currently studying for a DITALS II Level certification at the University for Foreigners of Siena.

Another fun conversation! Valentina is very kind in repeating herself and explaining phrases when I need her to, helping me to use Italian without reverting to English when I don't understand.

Valentina is so fun to talk with and is very kind. She helps me understand that I don’t need to worry if I’m a bit slow to speak or need to ask for a repetition because that’s just part of the learning process. Today we spoke only in Italian and it was delightful!

This was a very informative lesson! Valentina gave me some materials to practice with after our last lesson, and she was kind enough to send me feedback on my work and help me better understand the grammar I had missed when we talked today. It’s always a pleasure to have class with her!

In this lesson, Valentina gave me opportunities to practice forming sentences with multiple verb conjugations. She is very good at encouraging me to try speaking on my own, helping me when I get stuck but giving me the chance to figure things out independently as well. She also gave me useful vocabulary for my upcoming trip to Italy!
