Mahiro Heagler

First lesson with Mahiro-san was fun and enjoyable. We spoke in Japanese only and if there was a word or concept I didn't understand, she was more than happy to explain it to me in English. She was also very patient and allowed me to think about I wanted to say and would help me out if I got stuck. I'm looking forward to next lesson!

Mostly taught in Japanese. This is exactly what I wanted. She is happy to teach in English, but I learn more this way.

My first lesson with Mahiro was really great. She spoke slowly and explained everything very well, and taught me to introduce myself in Japanese immediately. She was very calm, patient, and positive and I am looking forward to our next class togheter :)

This was my second lesson with Mahiro Sensei, and it was delightful just like the first time. I have also signed up for a package with her to keep studying together. She is kind, always with a smile, patient (giving you time to form your thoughts), adhered to what we had planned (i.e. noting any mistakes I made that were notable and went over them with me after the lesson), and held a conversation well. If you want to learn with someone who will talk with you like a friend and you can talk about anything you want for practice (in my case, just learning how to speak more like a native without thinking so hard), I once again highly recommend Mahiro Sensei.
