My name is Amr, and I am a certified teacher of Arabic, the Qur’an, and Islamic studies for non-native speakers. I have taught hundreds of students of different ages and levels at Al-Azhar and online. In my teaching, I always focus on helping students use the language in their daily lives — not just study it.Ik als leerkracht
I hold a BA degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies from Cairo University and a Diploma in Education and Teaching Methods.
I have obtained certified qualifications from Cairo University and Al-Azhar University in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, as well as several ijazahs and specialized courses in language sciences, Islamic studies, and Tajweed.
I have taught all levels of the Arabic language to both children and adults. If you are looking for a teacher for your child, I can simplify the lessons in the easiest way.

Excellent lesson as always with Ustadh Amr and my children. Did some Arabic reading, conversation, and Quranic memorisation. Mixed the lesson up appropriately so the children did not get bored, and also did a useful role play. Patient with the (shy) children at all times.

A great lesson as always - Ustadh Amr did 30-40 mins of Arabic and Quran memorisation with my son, followed by 30 minutes Arabic language with myself using the Al Arabiyya Bayna Yadayk. He is patient and explains concepts in a reassuring and constructive manner and I look forward to our lessons all week. My son's progress since he started the lessons has also been noticeable.

Arabic lesson for my two children. A mixture of writing, reading and speaking. Well structured, engaging and pitched to the correct level. The children look forward to their weekly lessons with Amr now!

Excellent lesson with Ustadh Amr. Spoke in Arabic the whole lesson with explanations of words I didn't understand. Knew the level at which to pitch the lesson perfectly. His experience is obvious and I am excited about my learning journey ahead.

Excellent first Arabic lesson with Amr. He did a test of my knowledge and then we conversed for 15 mins at the end of the lesson. He was patient, friendly and prompt. I look forward to continuing my journey with him and am grateful to have such a qualified professional teacher one-to-one.
