I am a certified Korean language teacher, holding a teaching license from the National Institute of Korean Language. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I’ve helped students from diverse backgrounds, including Korean adoptees while I was in the USA.
As a teacher, I focus on motivation and active learning. I encourage students to think, apply, and solve challenges on their own because I believe hands-on practice leads to better understanding. Very happy with the progress I've made with Byeongho over the last year and a half. With his help, I've gone from only knowing Hangeul to being able to have my lessons mostly conducted in Korean. Byeongho is very flexible in tailoring his lessons to my goals, and I'm looking forward to my lessons with Byeongho in the future.

Whilst my lessons with Byeongho are largely based around a textbook, he's always great with deviating from the textbook if I have any questions about grammar or concepts that I've encountered in my own time. I've been learning from Byeongho for over 2 years now and he's always been empathetic and encouraging. I'm looking forward to learning from Byeongho for the foreseeable future.
