Welcome to my page! I have been a classroom teacher and individual tutor for 16 years. When I'm not teaching I am interested in hiking, swimming, and travel. I have been to 5 countries in Europe, and have visited Costa Rica, Mexico, and Japan. The most rewarding part of traveling is getting to know people who live in different parts of the world! There is a lot to learn from others, and I cherish the things I have discovered through international travel, and teaching students from other countries. I now have a new role as "grandmother", and in my free time I enjoy playing and laughing with my grandchild!!Ik als leerkracht
I am so excited to be able to help students in their language journey! I have taught a variety of ages and subjects for 16 years, but my specialty is English language instruction. English language learning can be confusing, but I believe in making learning relaxed and fun. It's amazing to see how quickly students learn when they feel comfortable speaking -with mistakes and all! Every student has strengths, so I like to build upon that, and see a student's confidence soar. Donna helps me with an admissions interview for graduate school. She prepare the lessons very well and she follows what I want to learn. She is that kind of teacher that will build you confidence and level up your speaking ability. Thumbs up!

I couldn’t have reached 130/160 on the Duolingo English test without Teacher Donna! Our lessons are always full of great conversations, and she makes sure I learn useful vocabulary that I can actually use. She’s been amazing at helping me improve and I’m really grateful for all her support 🥰 Thank you so much! Looking forward to our next lesson!
