Hi there! This is Verónica :) I’m a certified Spanish Teacher from Spain. I lived in the USA for 6 years so I know the struggle of speaking all day in your second language. I'm also a language learner just like you, that's why I understand the importance of creating a relaxed environment.
Six years ago I started learning English and I discovered my passion for language learning.
Learning a new language has taught me more about myself, and others, and it has given me another way to see the world since language involves culture as well. I have lived in the USA for the past 6 years, so I know the struggle of expressing yourself in your target language.

I became a teacher because I love interacting with people, learning about different cultures, and helping others, so I thought that becoming a teacher would be a great way to put all of this together.
I hold an ELE certification Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, and I have learned many different teaching approaches and methods in order to best help students to reach their goals.
I have a 1080p HD webcam, and a gaming headset equipped with a microphone for vocal clarity to provide you with better quality classes.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
I like to use a communicative approach in my lessons.
The lessons that I offer are:
“Spanish Lessons One on One”: These are structured, but very flexible lessons. I use different resources such as books, infographics, roles plays, etc… So the lesson will be tailored according to your needs.
“My Spanish Trip”: In these lessons, you’ll learn vocabulary for real situations, such as going to the store, booking a hotel room, ordering food, etc. Also Spanish for work: giving your opinion in that meeting at work, getting ready for an interview, and more.
“Conversational Classes”: these lessons are for you to practice as much as possible. Here we’ll work with news, podcast, series, etc...Mijn lesmateriaal

Verónica is a great teacher. She is professional, friendly and patient. The material she created is very clear and useful. I learned a lot in only 10 lessons with her. I would recommend her "Spanish Trip" package to anyone learning Spanish.

Veronica is a great teacher - she brings so much energy to each class. She also makes you feel comfortable and is very easy to talk to - but also makes sure to stay focused on what you want to improve on most. I would definitely recommend Veronica!

Today we worked on the subjunctive and how the meaning of certain phrases changes when the subjunctive is used.
Veronica's ability to switch into English and explain complicated concepts or translate phrases into colloquial English (or back into Spanish) is a superpower. When I'm truly stuck, she instantly provides a lifeline in English and gets me back on track quickly.
In this class, we also mixed foundational grammar with current events and some realistic colloquial Spanish. The combination is excellent and super useful.
As always, the class was a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to more.

Veronica was very prepared for the trial lesson and it was super fun to (try) to speak to her in Spanish. She is very patient and I was super comfortable making lots of mistakes with the language infront of her immediately. I am looking forward to more lessons with Veronica.
