Hello, everyone! I’m a native English speaker from the USA with C1 proficiency in Russian. I've been teaching on italki since 2018, but I started tutoring in 2016. I'm currently a school librarian during the day and a professional writing tutor at a college on some evenings. My favorite hobbies are reading, playing video games, traveling, and studying languages. I’m a friendly, open person that enjoys learning new things. I have a bachelor’s degree in English, plus three master's degrees in peace and conflict studies, politics and public administration, and library science. Additionally, I'm TEFL/TESOL-certified.
I have regular experience with English language learners here on Italki as well as at my other jobs. I'm able to teach kids 10 years old and older, teens, and adults. I primarily conduct informal lessons that focus on conversation practice, but I’m also able to teach a structured grammar course or check documents. In informal lessons, we can describe pictures, discuss a news article or book, or talk freely on a wide range of topics. I'm looking forward to seeing you in my lessons!
