I have been living in Paris for over three years now. I taught English to French children in middle and high school, and French to newly arrived refugees.
I am pursuing a master's in Linguistics and Computer Science here in Paris.
I have also taught kindergarten in Los Angeles and tutored students throughout high school. I have a TESOL certification and have been on Italki for about five years.

I've used Italki to practice Spanish and Chinese and found that informal conversation has helped me the most! I know that it can be scary, especially the first lesson, but it gets easier!
In conversation lessons, we can talk about topics like travel, films, and music. We can have debates, practice job interviews, slang, or anything you are interested in!
I can be a casual speaking partner with a low-pressure, non-judgmental, and informal nature or, if you prefer, we can have more structured and prepared lessons focused on improving your weaknesses in English or French. Jordan is a really nice person and it's easy to talk with her. Aside of that she speaks the languages that I'm learning, which makes the communication easier to me, she's a great teacher. I'm certainly going to book a lot of more classes with her.

It was a wonderful experience. I hadn't taken English classes in years and Jourdan made me feel super comfortable and her corrections are extremely timely.

Fue muy amena la conversación, me gustó su acento americano, nos presentamos, hablamos sobre un poco de la vida personal, sobre viaje, comidas típicas, culturas, hobbies, habitos, de todo un poco, esto era una clase de prueba y la profe me dijo todos los fallos que tenía, a ver si quedo otra vez a ver cómo es su sistema de estudio del idioma en práctica. saludos
