Hello! My name is Brian. I live in Colorado in the United States. I have a passion for learning about languages and cultures around the world and I consider myself a life long learner! I attended the University of Boulder to study linguistics and Japanese and I have been tutoring English as a second language since the summer of 2020 and I love it! My favorite subjects to talk about are history, philosophy, science and music, but I'm honestly more excited to hear about what you are passionate about! I like to make the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. Learning should be fun! For conversation practice, I love listening and talking about special interests, travelling life experiences or anything else really! I'll simply take notes as we speak and give feedback and corrections throughout the lesson. For my other lessons, I also like using many methods and activities for my lessons that make them memorable, enjoyable, and personalized!Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
Conversation Practice: In this lesson, we simply talk about various topics! While you speak, I will take notes. If something sounds strange, incorrect, or an be improved, I will tell you and also explain why it works that way too!
Formal Lessons/ Business English/ Test Prep: In this lesson, we will take stock of where you are now and set some goals for yourself! Then, we will come up with a personized plan and time frame for us to work in. Whether it's going from B1 to B2, passing the IELTS test or anything else, we can do it!
English for Young Learners: In this lesson, we will come up with fun and creative tasks for children to become familiar with English vocabulary, grammar and phrases!Mijn lesmateriaal

I've had lessons with about 20 tutors on iTalki. The best tutor/conversation leader can always make me enjoy the whole conversation, not worry about making mistakes, also learn a lot.
