죠니 Joni

Joni is great! I can tell she is committed. I am very new to learning and was having trouble with pronunciation. She gave me good advice and described how to make the desired sound. She even made a video for me so that I can practice. 10/10!!!

She does more than magic because, to my knowledge, I can't normally talk about any of the stuff we spoke about 😭 Thank you for always being patient and helping me along! Looking forward to our next class!

Jiwon is such a clear, thoughtful, patient, and fun teacher to learn from. I especially appreciate her attention to detail and 자연스러은 teaching style that makes conversation practice feel playful and relevant, even when it's difficult. I've learned lots of useful idiomatic expressions, slang, and new vocabulary from practicing with Jiwon, and I like that she will explain new concepts or correct my mistakes in Korean. As someone who forgets things easily, I also love that she also takes notes during the lesson in a Google Doc that I can review afterwards. After many years of self-studying Korean on-and-off on my own, I'm really glad I decided to challenge myself further by scheduling lessons with Jiwon. 너무너무 감사합니다!!!!

I've been taking classes with Joni all year now and wanted to write another review. Joni is great! She is really good at customizing her lessons to me and the topics that interest me. I feel very comfortable in the classes even when I make mistakes. I will definitely be continuing classes with her well into the future. I would highly recommend her as a teacher. 10/10 :)
