Evyatar

Evyatar is an amazing Hebrew teacher. He loves Hebrew a lot, and his excitement rubs off on me. With him, learning Hebrew feels like an adventure and not hard work. He's very good at teaching and makes sure that I understand everything. Evyatar is a very friendly person and makes me feel comfortable during class. Learning Hebrew with him is fun and easy!

I feel so satisfied after my lessons with Evy. It is clear that he has a tremendous passion for Hebrew and together we can share in our fascination for many things. Actually today, the key word of the day was fascination. Evy is really a scholar when it comes to exploring the roots of Hebrew words. As a kid, I couldn't care less, but as I gain more and more knowledge of various languages, I have become more fascinated by the etymology of words, as this discovery can tell us so much about ourselves. Learning with Evy reminds me of my time in Ulpan 50 years ago, learning with my instructor who was a polyglot from Hungary, a man I admired very much, a man who had many answers to deep questions. I think anyone who studies with Evy will be embarking on a long path of discovery. Evy, thanks so much for the time we spent today.

Je ne me lasserai jamais des cours avec Evyatar. C'est un très bon professeur qui est, sans aucun doute, amoureux de sa langue maternelle et qui sait transmettre sa passion avec enthousiasme. Chaque séance avec lui est une véritable aventure linguistique, où il nous emmène explorer les subtilités et les nuances de la langue d'une manière captivante. En plus de ses compétences pédagogiques exceptionnelles, Evyatar a une profonde connaissance de la culture associée à la langue, ce qui enrichit nos cours d'une dimension culturelle très appréciable. Il nous raconte des anecdotes, partage des traditions et nous emmène virtuellement à la découverte de son pays natal.

Great first class! Evyatar is really great at explaining things simply, and it made a whole lot of sense to me! We looked at the vowels, and it was great trying to look for patterns and rules for them. Evyatar asks questions for you to be observant and really focus on what learning at the moment. Very fun. I'm looking forward to our next class!
