I learned Speech Therapy, brain/cognitive function, developmental psychology, etc at school for 3 years. The sounds are invisible and disappears. Training sounds leads to a natural way to learn Japanese. Even if you study textbooks, you will not be able to catch & produce natural sounds. How should we learn and process Japanese?
✭The fundamental way of listening in Japanese (Input)
✭The fundamental way of speaking (Output)
✭The smallest unit of conversation (Input&Output)
✭How to deal with long Japanese (Input&Output)
My method is a profound and fundamental approach, and there are those who are happy to have finally found a teacher who can do it, and those who are not
Ik als leerkracht
You practice to create a good “sound foundation” from which to build upon. Even if you don’t understand the meaning of what you are saying in the beginning, I help you to improve the sound first. Later you know the meaning in Japanese and English using props, scenarios, and examples. I have a lot of tips to improve your Japanese. (*^▽^*)(sound→phrase→grammar, etc)
- Focusing on practcing fundamental Japanese foundation you don't notice well
- Daily conversation/Business
- Customised lessons according to your objectives

Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
My method is based on sound, repetition, and response. I break down Japanese complicated sentences into small building blocks which help you to both understand quicker and be able to engage in conversation faster as well. The repetition leads to the ability to form native-like Japanese responses.

The lessons are so much fun and I always feel like I'm making a lot of progress. Takeshi-san is a great teacher. Even though I'm a complete beginner, he's very patient but still challenges me, which is great for learning. Takeshi-san has a unique teaching style that allows you to learn a lot even subconsciously. I can follow the lessons very well and what is also important is that I don't lose my motivation even when the exercises become more difficult.

THE-BEST-LESSONS. Pages of self-made learning materials. Action figures and other goods purchased expressly for making lessons more interesting. Obsessive attention to detail on his end while being extremely flexible with you. On time like a Japanese train. Respectfulness to a level most people I know can't acheive. Fun, funny, and good-natured. I cannot even begin to describe the amazing person that is Takeshi-san. Be prepared for the best Japanese lessons you could possibly hope for.

The lesson was overstimulating. It took off at a breakneck speed and never slowed down. I couldn't understand when he wanted me to repeat what he was saying. There was a lot of him imitating the American English sounds in a way that felt a little bit like mocking. He didn't give me a moment to speak beyond repeating sounds. He was yelling while telling me that American English sounds too loud to the Japanese ear. It was contradictory.
I think his focus on letter sounds makes a lot of sense but it was just too fast-paced and overwhelming.
Thanks for the lesson!
